About Me
Creating a Space To Be.
Caroline Larcombe MBACP (Accred)

As a trained integrative counsellor from The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, I understand how vital the right support is for children facing challenges like anxiety and low self-esteem. My approach combines various therapeutic techniques, allowing me to tailor my sessions to meet the unique needs of your child.
I believe that a strong, trusting relationship between the counsellor and your child is essential for effective therapy. I offer both face-to-face sessions at The Practice in Weybridge, Surrey, and in Hampton (London Borough of Richmond), as well as online sessions via Zoom for young people aged 13 and up.
Currently, I work as a CAMHS counsellor with Relate, and my experience includes roles at Lifecentre in West Sussex, West Mercia Women’s Aid, and several schools. This diverse background equips me to support children dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, bullying, emotional distress, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges.
Therapy can be short-term (typically 8-12 weeks) or longer-term, based on what your child needs. We will regularly review their progress to ensure they are receiving the support that works best for them.
Your child’s safety and privacy are my top priorities. I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate and stay up-to-date with safeguarding training and GDPR compliance.
As an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to strict ethical guidelines, ensuring that your child receives the highest standard of care. You can learn more about these guidelines on the BACP website: www.bacp.co.uk.
